From November 13th to 15th, we participated in ICSSI2018 held at Asia University, Taiwan.

From our Lab, Fukui (Master 2nd) had a presentation with the title “Analysis of Patients Waiting for Long-term in Hospitals using Machine Learning”. (at 2nd day, November 14th)


HCG Symposium 2018

From December 12nd to 14th, we participated in HCG Symposium 2018 held at Symphonia Technology Hibiki Hall Ise, Ise City, Mie Prefecture.
From November 13th to 15th, we participated in ICSSI2018 held at Asia University, Taiwan.

From our Lab, Fukui (Master 2nd) had a presentation with the title “Analysis of Patients Waiting for Long-term in Hospitals using Machine Learning”.

He got the award “Featured Theme Session Award” on the field of “Industrial IoT / IoH and Human / Intelligent Machine Concerto”.

APSIPA ASC 2018

From November 12nd to 15th, we participated in APSIPA ASC 2018 held at Honolulu Hawaii, USA.

From our Lab, Asahi (Doctoral student) had a presentation with the title “Toward a high performance piano practice support system for beginners”, on the field of “Signal Processing Systems” on November 13rd.

Master 2nd members participated in the 22nd Tokai Regional Speech-Related Laboratory Master Thesis Midterm Presentation

Master 2nd members had the midterm report of their research in the 22nd Tokai Regional Speech-Related Laboratory Master Thesis Midterm Presentation held at Nagoya Institute of Technology on August 4th.

In this presentation, universities in the Tokai area, such as Nagoya University and Shizuoka University, gathered and made various presentations on speech-related themes. They received a variety of advices and feedbacks and were a meaningful place for further research.


Laboratory members got Grand Prix at “NEXT COMMUNICATION AWARDS 2017 ″

Yudai Suzuki (Master 2nd), Toyoaki Fukui (Master 2nd), and Kazuaki Ogawa (Graduated student), members the Hayamizu – Tamura Laboratory won the Grand Prix in the NTT Docomo NEXT COMMUNICATION AWARDS 2017 (sponsored by NTT Docomo Tokai Branch, etc.).

The final review meeting and the award ceremony were held on January 6, and the application created by the members won the development theme section “App that attracts people to the town”.

This application creates a travel plan and a travel bookmark automatically.

If you tell your favorite keyword to the character “Shiori-chan” in the app, she will create a recommended day trip plan that meets your needs and create a travel guide for your trip.
(“Shiori” means “a travel guide” in Japanese.)

The sightseeing spot information of this application is obtained from the public cloud system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and Google API.
